Undergraduate Research Assistantship

Provides students with the opportunity to assist a faculty member in the design, execution, or dissemination of a scholarly research project in the fields of sport science, coaching, management, or health promotion. Unlike SAR 490, which emphasizes independent inquiry, this course allows students to gain direct experience in applied research through a mentored apprenticeship model. Students will contribute to one or more phases of a faculty-led project while developing skills in research methods, ethics, project logistics, and academic communication.

High Impact Projects

Create a real world initiative aligned with your career goals. Develop a structured plan with faculty and industry mentors. Present your findings in a professional setting.

Student Ambassador

A Student Ambassador represents the student body, bridging communication between the administration and students. They embody the institution's values and promote engagement in activities. Responsibilities include facilitating tours, organizing events, and helping new students feel welcomed. They also provide feedback to the administration on student needs. Through leadership training and collaboration with faculty, Student Ambassadors develop skills such as public speaking and teamwork, becoming effective advocates for their peers.
